WITH a Bank Holiday and Royal Jubilee next week, Basildon Council is working to make sure that disruptions to your Refuse and Recycling collections are kept to a minimum.
Collections will be delayed by one day following Bank Holiday Monday, although collection crews will be working on Tuesday, 5th June – the day of the Queen’s Jubilee, to make sure your collections are only displaced by a maximum of one day.
To check your collection day, visit www.basildon.gov.uk and click on ‘where I live’. To receive a free text message reminder the day before your glass recycling collection day, text ‘Pink’ followed by your postcode to 82727.
Initial texts are charged at your standard network rate, although all texts received are free of charge.
