THE Towngate Theatre will be joining the jubilee celebrations next week with a jubilee tea party.
Running from 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday the theatres newly refurbished bar will be offering cream teas with a selection of pastries.
The Basildon Council run theatre will also play host to a jubilee nostalgia show on Wednesday 6 June with the Forces Sweethearts show performing a selection of the greatest hits of the 40’s and 50’s.
The show runs at the theatre from 2.30pm and tickets are available from the theatre box office on 01268 465465.
